Milton Plastics was founded in Hong Kong in 1990. From
that time our business strategy has been one of sales and
service in our big neighbour to the north – China. We have
grown with that plan and today have branches in Dongguan,
Guangzhou, Shanghai, Tianjin and Qingdao.
We have not been alone in this expansion, having continually
allied ourselves with established, well-known international
plastics material producers; famous brand names such as Bayer,
Lanxess, Polyplastics, Lucite and Exxon Mobil.
Of particular note is our successful relationship with KRAIBURG
TPE GmbH, a major thermoplastic elastomers producer based
in Germany and a leading supplier across Europe. Milton Plastics
has been their exclusive distributor in China since 1997.
Mutual benefit, trust and development grew to the point where
a joint venture was the natural next step. In March, 2004,
KRAIBURG TPE China Company Ltd was set up in Hong Kong – a
great example of our commitment to long-term cooperation with
leaders in our field.
Our credentials now boast many other similar strategic partnerships.
With them we can offer over 60 types of different high-quality,
high-performance polymers.
This broad diversification has allowed us to steadily grow
into a wider and wider range of value-added product categories.
We now supply plastics raw materials for the following market
segments:

‧ toys and sporting goods
For these and other applications it is our standard policy
to take a full-service approach. Our technical specialists
stand ready to consult and support at every stage of a project's
development from material selection to mold and product design,
to processing technology, to after sales service.
With a view towards matching varying customers' procedural
needs in satisfying custom control and tax regulations in
China, we offer VAT invoicing and foreign currency invoicing.
For this last purpose we established Hong Kong Plastics (Shanghai)
Ltd in 2003. This is a marketing arm of Milton Plastics created
to handle domestic China sales.
With our transport contacts and warehousing in China, we
ensure timely delivery to keep projects on schedule.
And, with the fast-growing consciousness of environmental
matters, we are pleased to say that all the materials we supply
are fully recyclable.
This "total solution" mindset, and the support
it delivers, have resulted in our large and growing base of
satisfied customers – customers that have us on their “preferred
list” as suppliers and business partners.
But we will not rest on our laurels. Our "edge"
is our people, their experience and expertise. That means
on-going learning, keeping an eye out for what is new and
developing. To that end, we keep clear lines of communication,
both internally and to our strategic partners. We participate
